Michigan State University will continue to produce a weekly IPM newsletter for blueberry growers. This newsletter contains weekly reports of crop growth stages, current reports of insect and disease activity, horticultural information, and a list of meetings, new labels, etc. The newsletter is produced by Small Fruit Education Coordinator Paul Jenkins and contains the results of scouting for insects by Rufus Isaacs' lab and scouting for diseases by members of Annemiek Schilder's lab. Contributors to the newsletter include blueberry extension specialists Rufus Isaacs (Entomology), Annemiek Schilder (Pathology), Eric Hanson (Horticulture), Paul Jenkins (Small Fruit Education Coordinator) and extension educators Mark Longstroth (southwest Michigan) and Carlos Garcia (west central Michigan).

The IPM Newsletter is funded by a grant from the Region 5 Environmental Protection Agency through a competitive Strategic Agriculture Initiative grant arrangement with Michigan State University and through MSU's Project GREEEN. Questions about the newsletter can be directed to Paul Jenkins at jenki132@msu.edu or 517 432-7751. Any reproduction of materials from this newsletter should cite the Michigan Blueberry IPM Newsletter as the source.

To sign up for a weekly email containing the newsletter, just email jenki132@msu.edu (be sure your email junk mail filter will allow this address).

The latest edition of the newsletter can also be found each week at:
